Diet of a Champion: Michael Phelps |

I stumbled onto this Olympic champion diet and I can understand from his statement, eat, recover as much, then perform at your best
At 4000 calories a day, that’s near to double intake of a normal average person, but to be at his elite level of performance and training, you really use and burn plenty of calories. Well here’s his diet below
Breakfast:
- Three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise
- Two cups of coffee
- One five-egg omelette
- One bowl of grits
- Three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar
- Three chocolate-chip pancakes

Lunch:
- One pound of pasta
- Two large ham and cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise on white bread,
- 1,000 calories of energy drinks

Dinner:
- One pound of pasta
- entire pizza
- more energy drinks

The conclusion, its kinda ‘unhealthy’ but what whatever gets the job done eh. For him, this diet works, so don’t try it for yourself until you know your body will not have adverse affect to it!
